Busy Bees Day Nursery at Belper, Derbyshire is excited to rustle up a Kitchen Assistant on a part-time basis… no evenings or weekends required! We follow an NHS-accredited nutritional meal plan (which changes seasonally) for our children to enjoy throughout their busy day!

This position is working on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, 15 hours per week, or Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week.

What can a Kitchen Assistant expect at a Busy Bees Nursery?
  • To cook and provide high-quality, nutritious, and freshly prepared meals and snacks, in line with food hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Follow safe working practices for children and staff and comply with Busy Bees' food hygiene and safety policies.
  • Comply with the company’s procedures relating to the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).
  • Most importantly… have FUN!

You will be required to hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (training offered).
