SENIOR IT TECHNICIAN

Directly Responsible For:

  • Efficient ticket management of the IT Helpdesk. Provide direction for the day-to-day workload of IT Technicians to ensure tickets and problems are resolved promptly and effectively.
  • Support and collaborate with staff and the Network Manager to deliver a safe, secure, and effective learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the IT team to ensure efficient support and smooth operation of facilities.
  • Manage, prioritize, and respond to helpdesk tickets based on their impact on the school and supported sites.
  • Undertake project work, as planned with the Network Manager, to develop the school and supported sites.
  • Provide cover for the Network Manager during their absence.
  • Plan and monitor the workload of yourself and the IT technicians.
