Job description

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join our Home Décor team as an Assistant Merchandiser.

Whether you're a Trainee Merchandiser looking to take the next step in your career, or an experienced Assistant Merchandiser eager to join a fast-paced, growing company, this could be the ideal role for you!

As an Assistant Merchandiser on our Home Décor team, you will work closely with a Senior Merchandiser, playing a key role in providing effective and efficient support to the department. To succeed, it is essential that you have excellent administration skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This role is fully based, 5 days a week at our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool (L24).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forecasting sales and planning product intake.
  • Ensuring excellent availability of all core SKUs.
  • Preparing and maintaining weekly and ad-hoc reports.
  • Generating and raising purchase orders.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with the buying team.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional data interpretation and analytical skills.
  • A good understanding of merchandising with strong commercial awareness.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and work efficiently at speed.
  • Proven ability to build positive relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
