Job summary
Harding+ is seeking an Assistant Merchandiser to join its Beauty team, helping forecast, plan stock and analyse trading performance across premium brands. You will support forecasting, stock management and inventory planning, balancing availability with commercial impact while building supplier relationships.
You will work with Buyers, Merchandising Assistants and operations teams to optimise stock flow, promotions and markdowns, using strong Excel skills to drive data-informed decisions in a
Qualifications
- Experience in forecasting, stock planning and trading analysis within retail.
- Strong Excel capabilities including Pivot Tables and lookup functions.
- Ability to translate data into actionable trading decisions.
- Comfort working with large volumes of trading data in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Support Buying and Merchandising teams with forecasting and stock planning.
- Analyse weekly sales, stock, margin and markdown performance to identify risks and opportunities.
- Assist Open to Buy (OTB) and WSSI processes to maximise sales and profitability.
- Collaborate with Buyers, Merchandising Assistants, Operations and suppliers to optimise stock flow.
