A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Merchandiser to join a leading multi-channel fashion business with multiple brands. The business has been established for over 30 years and, due to strong trade, is looking for an Assistant Merchandiser to join the Merchandising team.

Job Description
  • Forecast sales and stock levels to achieve sales plans and margin/profit targets for your department
  • Monitor department performance
  • Participate in weekly trade meetings
  • Compile accurate out-of-stock lists for communication across the business
  • Conduct end-of-season analysis by brand as required
  • Ensure replenishment levels on bestsellers are sufficiently high
  • Manage stock inflow by liaising with the buying team, freight forwarder, and warehouse
  • Ensure stock intake is on plan, availability is maintained at 100%, and out-of-stock situations are managed effectively
  • Plan allocation schedules and manage new season allocations to ensure 100% launch availability
The Successful Applicant
  • Previous merchandising experience such as Merchandise Admin Assistant, Senior Merchandising Admin Assistant, Assistant Merchandiser, or similar roles
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
