Job summary

ARNE, a UK-based apparel and footwear brand, is seeking an Assistant Merchandiser to join the team in Warrington. The role focuses on maximising sales through stock management, forecasting, and analytics conducted in Excel, driving opportunities across ecomm and retail channels.

You will own reporting, line cards, and stock planning, while collaborating with the merchandising team and other departments to optimise buying decisions and seasonal performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Merchandising at Assistant Merchandiser level or Merch Admin Assistant aiming to progress.
• Strong data interpretation and analytical skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and a drive for quality work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Monday trade reporting for ecomm and retail, with analysis and actions.
• Create ad hoc analyses to aid merchandising and wider business decisions.
• Own line cards, forecasting and planning sales and stock to suggest buys.
• Review intake against sales, freight budgets and supplier constraints; support MAAs in decisions.
• Support MAA in stock ordering processes: create POs, barcodes and delivery schedules.
• Produce end-of-season lessons learnt reports with commentary and insights.
• Own stock ordering processes and delivery scheduling.
• Support with training for MAA development.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships within the business.

ARNE is a UK-based apparel and footwear brand based in Birchwood Park, near Warrington. We design and develop all our products in the UK, working with trusted manufacturing partners across both the near and far east.

All our products are available directly to customers through ARNEclo.com, offering a seamless online shopping experience. We are now looking for an Assistant Merchandiser to join ARNE, who will support the team in maximising sales through effective management of stock. We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic individual with an analytical background and a love for excel!

Your day-to-day role and responsibilities include:

• Preparing Monday trade reporting across ecomm and retail for the merchandising team and providing analysis & actions to identify opportunity and risk.
• Creating ad hoc analysis and reports, to aid the both the merchandising team & wider business on decisions making
• Ownership and maintenance of the line cards, forecasting and planning sales & stock to suggest buys
• Review intake in line with sales across ecomm and retail, freight budgets and supplier restrictions, and support the MAAs in decision making
• Support MAA in process of the stock ordering, including creating PO's, sending barcodes, and managing the delivery schedule
• Create reporting, and analysis for end of season lessons learnt planning, supporting our Merchandisers with commentary & insights
• Owning the stock ordering process, including creating PO's, sending barcodes, and managing the delivery schedule
• Support with management of the MAA providing training to aid their development
• Build strong working relationships across the wider business

Requirements

• Experience in Merchandising, as an Assistant Merchandiser or Merch Admin Assistant looking to progress is essential
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, always looking to delivery quality work in an efficient manner
• Strong data interpretation and analytical skills
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel required (vlookups, pivot tables, etc)
• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels across the business
• Great problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage your own time
