An established industry player is offering an exciting opportunity in their merchandising department. You will gain valuable commercial experience working with a luxury designer brand renowned for its exquisite home furnishings. This role involves collaborating with suppliers globally and managing stock levels to meet financial targets. The fast-paced and collaborative environment promises growth and development, making it ideal for those passionate about numbers and analytics. If you thrive in a dynamic setting and possess a keen eye for detail, this role could be your next career step.
The commercial life cycle of everything we sell is the responsibility of our merchandising department. Each team member is a specialist in a specific product area, and on any given day they may be tracking stock, organising our supply chain or analysing sales and margins. They're big fans of spreadsheets, continually looking at data to help us make the right decisions, and then passing their findings on to the rest of the company.
We are offering a great opportunity where you'll amass lots of commercial experience with a luxury designer brand well known across UK and Europe for its beautiful home furnishings. Not only will you deal with suppliers around the world but you'll also work closely with our own supply chain, which starts with our talented manufacturing team in Asia.
At Neptune, the pace is fast, fun and collaborative which underpins life in our Merchandising team. They're a savvy and commercially aware bunch, always thinking ahead of the game to manage stock levels to meet financial targets and ensure our ever-growing collections of luxury furniture, stunning kitchens and home accessories are in the right place at the right time.
About
It's not all about number crunching though, in the world of merchandising at Neptune, here's just a few of the important skills we are looking for:
Life here moves quickly and you'll bring energy, enthusiasm and drive along with a 'can-do' attitude and a desire to 'get stuck in'. That said, you'll ideally have previous experience within a similar level role in Merchandising within homewares and be very methodical, with a love of numbers and be a complete whizz on MS Excel, but most importantly aspire to deliver above and beyond the call of duty.
What Benefits We Can Offer You
Across all locations, we stay united by our company values: Do The Right Thing, Do It Together, Aim High and Keep It Real.
We're an equal opportunities employer; our mission is to welcome everyone and create inclusive teams, with all colleagues and applicants afforded the same opportunities. We encourage everyone to join us and be themselves at work, in an environment that actively promotes equality, diversity and inclusion and where everyone's voices are heard.

Put simply, we make things we're proud of, and that are designed to last a lifetime.
