Assistant Merchandiser - Beauty Industry - Full time position

The Beauty Crop — London, Greater London

This is a full-time permanent role with a hybrid working model. You will need to be in the West London office 3 days a week.

Position Overview

We are a young, dynamic beauty company operating mainly in e-commerce, with impressive growth within 18 months of operation. Our mission is to create a fun, plant-based, nutritional skincare brand that is affordable and effective. We seek an Assistant Product Planner who is analytical, product-focused, and adaptable to fast-paced trading challenges.

Responsibilities

Product Performance & Trading

• Run and circulate reports, providing insights and commentary
• Support category strategy and OTB planning
• Recommend NPD/OTB and range improvements
• Update product line forecasts and identify risks and opportunities
• Review stock levels, suggest transfers, and manage slow-moving stock
• Collaborate with E-commerce team for trading, merchandising, and promotional activities
• Analyze site performance and implement KPI improvements
• Advise on promotions and pricing strategies

Product Lifecycle Management

• Manage rebuys from PO to intake, coordinating with NPD and Operations teams
• Maintain accurate Product Library information
• Track NPD from conception to launch, meeting Critical Path deadlines
• Manage sample inventories for marketing purposes
• Support the delivery of trade and marketing calendars, liaising with stakeholders
• Coordinate with Ecom team on digital assets

Qualifications/Skills

• 2-3 years experience in Merchandising, Planning, or E-commerce
• Strong analytical skills with retail math metrics understanding
• Knowledge of E-commerce performance metrics
• Understanding of critical path and product lifecycle
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Tiktok shop experience is a plus
