Purpose of Position:

The purpose of this position is to support the Merchandiser in planning and trading the department(s), driving sales through effective stock planning and intake management, store analysis, and detailed daily, weekly, and seasonal stock and sales analysis.

Areas of Responsibility:

Stock Management

• Assist with sales forecasting at brand and department levels under the guidance of the Merchandiser.
• Support the management of the WSSI and OTB process.
• Maintain stock replenishment to drive sales and ensure product availability, aiming for 98% availability across A-C graded SKUs.
• Oversee the MAA with raising POs.
• Manage stock intake in line with department and brand levels to maximize sales, suggesting risk mitigation strategies.
• Work closely with the Inventory AM to ensure smooth stock flow through the DC.
• Identify inventory liabilities and collaborate with the Merchandiser and vendors to resolve them.
• Responsible for initial SKU ranging for store allocations based on business needs.
• Link new SKUs to existing ones for allocations in AGR.

Trading

• Prepare weekly KPI trade summaries, providing insights on best/worst sellers to influence stock decisions.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends, growth opportunities, and potential risks.
• Assess the success of promotions and events.
• Conduct ad-hoc product analysis as needed.
• Assist in markdown proposals and analysis.

Merchandising Systems

• Develop strong knowledge of NAV, AGR, Qlikview, Qliksense systems.
• Perform data integrity checks to ensure department efficiency (e.g., product lifecycle and hierarchy accuracy).

Management, Training, and Development

• Build relationships with internal and external partners such as Buying, Trading, Marketing, Inventory Merch, and Brands.
• Take responsibility for personal development.
• Assist in training the MAA.

Please note that this role will be within either the Skincare or Makeup category.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience:

• Excellent Excel skills, with advanced proficiency preferred.
• Experience in a multi-brand luxury environment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of multi-channel retail, including stores and e-commerce, is ideal.
