Job summary

Mountain Warehouse in London is seeking a Senior Merchandiser/MAA support to help deliver the category strategy through analysis of performance, range opportunities and promotions. You will forecast buys, manage linecards and stock intake, ensure timely delivery from suppliers, and collaborate to maximise sales, profit and availability while maintaining accuracy and a fast-paced work rhythm.

Hybrid working is available with days in the London office and some remote work.

Qualifications

• Experience at senior MAA or assistant merchandiser level.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Effective communicator with stakeholders.
• Proficient in Excel and data analysis.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
• Good organisational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Merchandiser to deliver category strategy with analysis.
• Manage linecards and intake, forecast buys and stock for inbound.
• Trade the category to maximise sales, profit and availability.
• Ensure the right stock ships from suppliers on time.
• Share best practices within the buying and merchandising community.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting the Merchandiser to deliver the category strategy, providing analysis including lessons learnt, range and promotional opportunities
• Managing linecards and intake: forecasting and identifying where additional buys are needed and ensuring stock comes in when required
• Supporting the Merchandiser to actively trade the category and maximise sales, profit and achieve optimum availability throughout the season, making space for new season arrivals!
• Check and ensures that the right stock is being shipped from suppliers on time
• Support and develops the MAA and shares best practices across the buying and merchandising community

• Required, experience at an Senior MAA or Assistant Merchandiser level
