The Medical Secretary team are looking for a driven individual to join the team.
In this role you will provide secretarial assistance to Senior Medical Secretaries/Consultants/nursing staff at Band 3 level. You will also liaise with other colleagues in the team to contribute to the smooth running of the department. You will be well organised and used to dealing with the public efficiently and politely.
Excellent word processing/fast, accurate typing is essential for this post. Knowledge of audio typing (analogue and digital) and medical terminology is desirable.

The post holder will provide an efficient, confidential and reliable service to specialty teams.
This will include administrative and secretarial support to enable the provision of patient care and specialty services. Good communication skills essential to ensure a proficient, high quality service for patients and clinicians.
The post-holder will be expected to work as part of a Specialist Team and will report to the Senior Medical Secretary/PA and Medical Secretary Manager.
