Job Profile
In this role, you will be the Brand Champion for the respective Brand in the UK business, adapting global strategies and developing local initiatives to deliver brand objectives through product, marketing, and communication plans.
In addition, you will be responsible for executing national marketing activities across defined brands with the aim to drive business success and ensuring brand compliance in line with the global marketing strategy. You will support the Brand Manager in building and strengthening our brands' positions in the UK and increasing MS.
Reporting To
This position reports to the Brand Manager / Senior Brand Manager of the respective brand.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead for brand communication within the UK business for their portfolio of brands (incl. Mktg assets, store openings, etc.)
- Translate global brand strategies and campaigns into local plans, identifying and executing against specific UK needs and opportunities as appropriate, to ensure brand goals are achieved.
- Collaborate with the global brand teams to ensure that local marketing and product needs are recognised and met.
- Recommend local product range, channel mix, and retailers' marketing support with data analysis.
- Work with the sales and visual merchandising teams to continuously improve retail execution.
- Manage, track, and report the marketing plan and budget for their portfolio of brands.
- Lead product training sessions/presentations internally and to key customers.
- Work with external agencies to develop and execute marketing and PR plans including briefing.
In Addition
- Support the Brand Managers in all marketing, product, and communication-related enquiries.
- Support in the development of key marketing activities and projects, including new product launches, assets production, consumer and retailer brochures, media, GWP, etc.
- Establish and maintain strong and supportive relationships with cross-functional groups, such as our Sales and Visual Merchandising teams and our Brand and Finance functions.
- Oversee the ordering of marketing collateral, their distribution, invoicing, and inventory (i.e., displays, giveaways, paper bags, etc.).
- Analyze marketing campaign results, prepare reports, and explore ways to improve or maintain successes.
- Propose new efficient tools that help the team better track, improve, and monitor the marketing activities.
- Work as part of the wider Movado Wholesale Marketing team, on ad hoc administrative tasks (reports, purchase orders, forwarder invoices, etc.).
- Sample coordination.
- Own Campaign Asset - downloading, creating local guidelines, sending to printers, POS proof approval.
- Collate/maintain training information for retail.
- Support Ecom business with online copywriting.
Skills Required
- Graduate, with a degree gained ideally in Marketing or Communication.
- Proven experience in a similar position within an international environment in an FMCG, fashion, or related industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Suite.
- Expertise in digital and social media.
- An enthusiastic team player.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal/copywriting.
- Ability to build relationships with ease.
- Highly motivated with a can-do attitude.
- Ability to work well with change, quickly adapt, and work with pace.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage a varied workload.
