Are you passionate about fashion, leadership, and delivering exceptional customer experiences? We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team in Thurles, Co. Tipperary! This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and organized individual to drive success in one of our high-energy departments.

Carraig Donn is 100% Irish owned and operated, employing over 500 people across our head office and retail stores, with 40 branches nationwide. Our operations include a central warehouse, buying offices, a dispatch centre, and e-commerce, primarily based in Westport, Co. Mayo, with additional offices in Ennis and Dublin. We are experiencing continued growth and have an ambitious 10-year expansion plan.

The Role:

This is a full-time, permanent Assistant Manager position at our Wexford store. Flexibility is essential, as you will be required to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and motivate the team to achieve sales targets, KPIs, and deliver outstanding customer service.
  2. Assist the Store Manager in organizing and managing weekly team rotas to ensure adequate coverage within budgeted hours.
  3. Drive operational excellence, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and maintaining company standards.
  4. Support adherence to company policies and procedures, assisting the Store Manager in their implementation.
  5. Coordinate merchandising campaigns, promotional activities, delivery schedules, and back-office duties proactively within required timeframes.
  6. Display strong leadership skills, coaching and developing the team to meet objectives and embody Carraig Donn's core values.
  7. Previous retail management experience is essential; experience in giftware or fashion is advantageous.
