Job summary

Upham Inns is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a team in one of our premium pubs. You will be on the floor with guests, driving the day-to-day operation and ensuring a high standard of guest experience.

You will manage food and beverage delivery, staff recruitment and development, and oversee stock controls and KPI performance. The role requires evening and weekend availability and a passion for hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience within Hospitality
• The Right to Work in the UK
• Strong leadership skills with staff development and upskilling
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Innovative, trustworthy and impartial
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays is essential.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of guest experience at a high level with consistency through every shift
• Overall responsibility for the food and beverage
• Achieving the KPI's / performance metrics for the ongoing financial success of the business
• HR responsibilities including recruitment and development of staff
• Stock controls
• Drive business through the delivery of consistent guest experiences
• Opening and closing of the business
