Job Role: Assistant Manager (Retail)
Salary: £14,920 per year (full-time equivalent £23,810)
Hours: 23.5 hours per week

Additional Information
- Please note that this role involves supporting two of our charity shops, with the expectation of spending one day per week in Devizes and two days in Melksham.
- As this role is based in a retail environment, weekend availability will be required.
The Role

From leading and supporting our amazing volunteers to managing stock and creating a welcoming shopping environment, you’ll be at the heart of it all.

Responsibilities Include
- Collaborate with the Shop Manager to meet and exceed income and profit targets by optimising sales strategies, minimising operational costs, and continually seeking innovative ways to enhance business performance.
- Managing donations, including overseeing the sorting, pricing and preparation of items for sale and effectively disposing of unwanted items.
- Assisting in the recruitment, training, and development of a motivated volunteer team and ensuring the shop is adequately staffed.
- Supporting the Shop Manager in all administrative and financial procedures, including cash handling and banking.
