Job summary

Pret a Manger is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee daily store operations in our Manchester shop. You will lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding customer service and high‑quality food, while maintaining a positive, inclusive work environment built on teamwork.

You’ll train and develop team members, collaborate with front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house teams, and ensure health and safety standards, stock control, and waste reduction are managed effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in retail or hospitality settings.

• As an Assistant Manager at Pret a Manger,you’llsupport the General Manager in overseeing daily store operations to ensure everything runs smoothly.You’llhelp lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding customer service and consistently high-quality food, while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment built on teamwork and camaraderie. By leading from the front,you’llensure exceptional customer experiences and resolve any issues promptly.You’llassistin training and developing team members, helping them grow professionally within Pret. Working closely with both front-of-house and back-of-house teams,you’llcontribute to efficient service, uphold health and safety standards, and supportstock controlthrough stock ordering, stock takes, and waste reduction.
