The successful Assistant Manager candidate will:
- Be highly motivated with a focus on customer service
- Have a strong background in food and hospitality
- Report to the General Manager and assist in daily duties and operations
- Manage, motivate, and develop a team to meet company standards
- Liaise with chefs, hotel management, and suppliers
- Conduct stocktakes and place orders
- Handle accounts management
Assistant Manager duties include:
- Managing day-to-day shifts in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Supporting the General Manager and management team to uphold company values
- Leading the team to deliver excellent service
- Performing administrative tasks related to food and beverage operations
- Leading by example in a busy environment
- This role may require sleepovers and responding to guests’ needs during the night
