Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Legal Entity Control team, reporting directly to the Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract. The role involves ensuring deadlines are met and supporting Legal Entity Control Accountants in preparing statutory accounts, board reports, and technical accounting papers. The team are responsible for producing statutory accounts for various legal entities within the UK Group, as well as delivering board and regulatory reports. How you'll make an impact Review of statutory accounts. Work closely with external auditors and lead the co-ordination of the group and UK audit process. Review board reporting. Review of FCA regulatory reporting. Review and preparation of technical accounting papers. Provide technical support to the Statutory Accountants. Ensure compliance with internal controls. Review reconciliations of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss accounts. Ad-hoc projects (such as liquidation/dissolution of entities, assisting with acquisitions). About You Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ICAS/CIMA or equivalent) Preferably experienced with UK GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Management experience Eligible to work in the UK Compensation and benefits On top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
