Job summary

The Oakley Arms, part of Brunning and Price, is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a busy pub floor and support the management team. You’ll welcome customers, train and guide the bar/waiting team, and help run busy services and special events.

You’ll decide beers on tap, curate gin and wine selections, and help plan upcoming events to drive guest experience and revenue. This role offers development within a growing family of pubs.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or pub experience preferred.
• Ability to lead a team and manage high-volume shifts.
• Customer service excellence and guest focus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and look after the bar/waiting team during shifts.
• Train and lead staff, ensuring smooth service and event execution.
• Assist with busy service management and running special events.
