Job summary

Toby Carvery Enfield, part of Mitchells & Butlers PLC, is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in day-to-day operations and lead a busy hospitality team across front and back of house.

You will mentor staff, drive guest experience and service standards, role-model development, and ensure the venue runs smoothly while guests leave with a memorable, roast‑house style visit and a warm welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory hospitality role, preferably as Assistant Manager or similar.
• Ability to train and develop a team to deliver high guest service.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Train, mentor, and develop team members to deliver excellent guest experience.
• Lead by example to drive service standards and teamwork.
• Ensure smooth venue operation and memorable customer visits.
