Job summary

The Harrogate Inn in Harrogate is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in delivering exceptional hospitality and guest experience. You will lead a team, manage daily operations, and ensure our Inn feels like a home away from home for guests.

You will work closely with the General Manager to oversee duties, coordinate with Chefs, Management and Suppliers, and maintain standards across the operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or pubs is required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Customer-focused with a friendly manner.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure high service standards.
• Lead and develop the assistant team and supervisors.
• Coordinate with Chefs, Management and Suppliers; manage stock and ordering.
• Conduct stock takes and manage accounts; assist with overnight guest responses.
