What you will do:
- Attend meetings with our Business Development Directors (BDDs) and Relationship Managers (RMs) to understand and learn about new business and existing customers, supporting the BDD in progressing opportunities through the new business pipeline.
- Provide support to BDDs by reviewing searches for Credit Risk, including Financial Crime, and obtaining and reviewing ID.
- Review and analyze Financial Year End Accounts and Management Information.
- Support the Take on Process from Credit Sanction to completion, including completing the Take on Checklist (TOCL), scheduling transfers with outgoing Invoice Financiers, and ensuring all Condition Precedents are met.
- Assist RMs with Customer Reviews by requesting necessary information, reviewing bank statements, obtaining HMRC confirmation, and reviewing trade creditors.
- Support RMs by reviewing Experian Alert Changes and the Direct Paid report.
- Use our internal risk system (Risk Factor) to monitor existing customers, support RMs on Overpaid Accounts, Monitor Operation Conditions, and follow up on actions and schedules.
- Assist RMs & BDDs with completing Credit Risk Grading Applications (CRGA) and any required Ongoing Due Diligence.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Senior Leadership, Credit Partners, Business Support, and Relationship Management teams.

What you will need:
- Experience in administrative roles handling high volumes of work and managing workloads.
- Some experience with generating invoice finance leads or working in credit control/support functions within invoice finance.
- Excellent relationship-building skills across various stakeholder levels.
- Exceptional customer service skills, as interaction with customers is essential.
- A keen eye for detail, especially regarding data protection and AML regulations.
- Strong diary management skills.
- An understanding of the risks associated with your role and their implications for yourself, Metro Bank, and stakeholders.
