Pay -

Second Assistant Manager - £32,000 base salary (+ up to £7,200 KPI bonus)

First Assistant Manager - £34,500 base salary (+ up to £9,300 KPI bonus)

As an Assistant Manager, you'll be at the heart of the action, focusing on coaching, inspiring, and guiding a shift management team to deliver excellent service. You’ll lead the creation of a work culture that empowers crew members and enables them to shine.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead a large, diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deliver amazing customer experiences by making sure every shift runs smoothly.
  • Take ownership of safety, food hygiene, and security standards.
  • Train, develop, and mentor team members at all levels.
  • Champion 1-2-1s and performance feedback to grow strong, confident leaders.
  • Drive business performance by understanding key metrics and owning the monthly P&L.
  • Keep your finger on the pulse of the restaurant’s business plan and find new ways to succeed.

Two-Stage Interview Process

To ensure the role is right for you, we conduct a two-stage interview process:

  • Stage 1 – Interview with Tom (our Learning and Development Manager) followed by a tour of the kitchen.
  • Stage 2 – 1-hour shoulder-to-shoulder session with a current shift manager, followed by a meeting with a senior leadership team member to discuss the role in detail.
