The Role
- Act as a primary contact for a portfolio of clients on daily tax matters, collaborating with Senior Managers and Managers on larger accounts.
- Support tax advisory projects by providing UK Indirect tax insights based on experience and detailed research. Collaborate with other tax areas and overseas firms to incorporate their input as needed.
- Keep clients informed about emerging Indirect and broader tax developments affecting their businesses.
- Assist in delivering UK Indirect tax compliance services.
- Supervise junior staff and provide coaching to support their growth.
- Help Managers and Senior Managers with client account management, ensuring compliance with quality, risk management, and financial procedures.
- Contribute to business development initiatives.
The Person
- Experience in UK VAT advisory, with proven client management skills and the ability to attract work; CTA qualification is preferred.
- Ability to analyze problems, identify core issues, investigate, evaluate, and synthesize information.
- Effective communicator who is open, honest, consistent, and clear.
- Maintain high motivation, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude under pressure.
