Your role
Our Fund Accounting teams at Saltgate provide accounting and payment services as part of our Client Services function.
Reporting into the Senior Manager, you will take ownership of the client relationships and will lead a team of accountants responsible for day-to-day accounting client service delivery for a portfolio of client structures.
Your focus
- Plan the allocation of team workloads and supervise the progress of work to ensure deadlines are met
- Review team members' work ensuring accuracy, completeness and overall presentation of deliverables
- Provide necessary calculations (such as management fees, carried interest, solvency calculation, lease amortisation, fund model) to clients.
- Prepare financial statements/management reporting template and set up complex bookkeeping
- Maintain strong working client relationships in addition to attending client meetings to present deliverables and represent Saltgate
- Effectively manage the team and develop employees
Your experience- ACCA, ACA qualified or equivalent
- 4 years + relevant experience
- Line management experience with ability to lead and motivate staff
- Proactive and responsive along with excellent communication skills - ability to liaise effectively with clients
- Strong analytical skills and a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong collaborator with positive attitude
- High level of proficiency in Excel and Outlook
