Join to apply for the Assistant Manager, Environment - Nature role at Lloyds Banking Group.

This role offers an opportunity to leverage your expertise in nature and sustainability to support Lloyds Banking Group's ambitions. The position involves assessing and managing nature-related risks, supporting sustainability initiatives, and collaborating with internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide guidance on the assessment and management of nature-related impacts, dependencies, risks, and opportunities.
  2. Utilize science-based frameworks and initiatives (e.g., TNFD, SBTN, IPBES, WBCSD, WEF, UNEP-FI) to inform assessments.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the Group.
  4. Share knowledge on nature-related frameworks and the state of nature with colleagues.
  5. Translate policy developments into strategic insights for the Group.
  6. Promote innovative and agile practices within the team.
Minimum Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of nature-related topics.
  • Knowledge of frameworks like TNFD, Biodiversity Net Gain, CSRD, CBD Biodiversity Framework.
  • Understanding of the links between climate change and nature loss.
  • Experience with data analysis and geospatial software (e.g., ArcGIS) is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
