What You’ll Do:

As an Assistant Manager, you'll be the right hand to our General Manager, playing a key role in the smooth running of the diner. You’ll support the day-to-day operations, ensuring that every guest leaves with a smile and every team member feels motivated and inspired. From overseeing service to managing the floor, you’ll be the heartbeat that keeps everything rocking and rolling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the General Manager in all aspects of diner operations, including service, staffing, and financial performance
  • Lead by example, ensuring that our high standards of service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction are consistently met
  • Assist in training, developing, and motivating our team to deliver top-notch service and a memorable dining experience
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with a focus on creating positive outcomes
  • Contribute to sales and profitability targets by driving service excellence and operational efficiency
  • Manage shifts, ensuring that all team members are in the right place at the right time
  • Take responsibility for health and safety compliance, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff
  • Step in for the General Manager as needed, taking full charge of the diner and leading the team to success

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role, ideally in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
  • A natural leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
