Job Overview

We are seeking a focused, aspirational, and collaborative professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager in Data Science and Machine Learning within our Audit and Assurance practice. The role involves delivering analytics solutions, developing innovative data science tools, and supporting clients in large data handling and modeling.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide data analytics and data science services to deliver insights that help clients understand risks and key drivers using tools like Python, R, Azure, Databricks, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI.
  2. Review internal and third-party data science and cloud solutions.
  3. Develop and deliver new data science and machine learning tools to meet evolving audit needs.
  4. Support clients in data handling, manipulation, analysis, and modeling.
  5. Work effectively within diverse and inclusive teams.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience with Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn).
  • Understanding of mathematical, probabilistic, and statistical principles behind ML models.
  • Experience deploying supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms.
  • Excellent communication and data presentation skills for non-technical audiences.
  • End-to-end data science project experience.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with R, Deep Learning, NLP, cloud environments like Azure/AWS, and MLOps tools.
  • Knowledge of software engineering best practices, Docker, Kubernetes, and front-end development.
  • Experience in the financial sector or large organizations.
