In every restaurant, you\'ll find talented Assistant Managers who work with the General Manager and share the responsibility for the restaurant\'s results. Our Assistant Managers demonstrate leadership, coaching and direction, bringing our values to life for their team and our customers. They support the delivery of perfect burgers and fries, provide an \'above and beyond\' experience for the team, create an enjoyable working environment, ensure every customer is delighted with their order and their Five Guys experience, and deal with complaints promptly in an open and honest way. They lead from the front, are hands-on on the line and on the floor with customers, support the General Manager, have ownership of the P&L, drive sales while controlling costs, run smooth day-to-day operations, and develop the team to ensure a strong talent pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Support Shift Managers and Crew to deliver perfect burgers and fries and a great customer experience
• Lead, coach and develop teams to drive profitability and optimise sales opportunities
• Demonstrate leadership and bring company values to life for staff and customers
• Provide an above-and-beyond experience for the team and create an engaging, fun working environment
• Deal with customer complaints promptly in an open and honest way
• Lead from the front; work hands-on on the line and on the floor with customers
• Support the General Manager and contribute to store results
• Own the P&L responsibilities, drive sales and control costs
• Run day-to-day operations with a focus on long-term planning
• Develop the team to ensure a strong talent pipeline

Qualifications

• Experience working in a Drive Thru and in a fast-paced QSR environment with high-volume sales and a large team
• Ability to adapt to people and customers and a drive to deliver great results
• Ambitious with a desire to grow; support and tools available to build a career with us
• Long-term career progression opportunities toward Deputy General Manager, General Manager, Area Trainer, District Manager or roles in the Support Office
