Job description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate Tax Advisory team in Newcastle, which is responsible for providing tax advisory and compliance services for a wide range of business clients.

As Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Relationship and key stakeholder management with ability to manage a portfolio of complex cases from both an advisory and compliance perspective
  • Management and development of staff with the ability to mentor junior staff and provide performance appraisals
  • Compliance work including ensuring procedures are followed, taking account of institute and HMRC guidance, where relevant

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Substantial corporate tax experience gained within the professional services sector
  • Demonstrable experience in providing tax advice to clients on complex tax matters
  • Ability to manage and coach others
  • Interest in growing business development skills
  • Professional Qualifications and Education: Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA) and/or tax advisor (CTA) or international equivalent
