Assistant Manager - Brent Cross, London

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent

We are Flip Out, the UK's biggest and best adventure parks! We are recruiting an outstanding Manager to join our Flip Out & Laser Quest team in Brent Cross.

Job Overview

Reporting to the General Manager and overseeing 20-40 team members, you will support leadership efforts to create memorable experiences for our guests, prioritizing safety and exceptional service.

Key Measures of Success

• Enhancing guest experience and feedback performance.
• Maintaining health and safety standards, including SOPs, F&B operations, team training, and performance monitoring.
• Achieving KPIs such as revenue, guest bookings, operating costs, and budget management.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment, actively engaging in daily operations.
• Follow operational directives and meet objectives as per the operational platform.
• Demonstrate leadership by actively participating in team activities.
• Manage the Laser Quest venue and support Flip Out operations.
• Recruit, coach, develop, and mentor your team alongside the General Manager.
• Oversee children's parties and ensure excellent guest experiences.
• Be present and face-to-face with guests when needed to enhance their experience.
• Utilize commercial awareness to identify revenue opportunities and propose business plans.
• Prioritize health & safety for both guests and team members, including incident management and staff training.
• Maintain venue standards, including presentation, maintenance, and facilities management.
• Communicate effectively with teams and guests, handling feedback professionally.
• Be adaptable, resilient, and a role model with integrity.
• Support performance management processes, including probation, attendance, punctuality, and disciplinary actions.
• Create an energetic, safe, and fun environment for teams and guests.
• Engage with each team member during shifts.
• Represent the company as an ambassador and lead community engagement efforts.
• Work beyond contracted hours as required by business demands.
