We are seeking to recruit a new Assistant Manager for our shop in Stirling, Stirling. This is a permanent full-time position, working a variety of shifts 5 days from 7 each week, usually including at least one weekend shift.

Please note that for full-time positions, we generally require you to be fully flexible in your availability throughout the week, including weekends.

The salary for this position ranges between £30,240.00 and £31,392.52 per annum on a 43-hour contract.

As an Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with the shop manager to operate an efficient shop and deliver excellent customer service
• Developing your team through coaching, mentoring, and providing feedback
• Managing the shop in the absence of the shop manager, ensuring customer satisfaction, prompt deliveries, and routine shop maintenance for safety and cleanliness
• Motivating and guiding your team to control operational costs such as shrinkage, waste, and payroll
• Supporting recruitment and onboarding of new staff members
