There has never been a better time to join, as we celebrate the spectacular re-opening of the Pedn Olva! After a multi-million pound makeover, we are looking for a dedicated team member to bring our iconic venue to life, with training starting in April. You will work at a landmark hotel that attracts both visitors and locals to its scenic bar and sun-drenched terraces. Supported by a world-class management team and backed by the historic success of St Austell Brewery, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work in an inspiring location, motivating a passionate team while supporting and occasionally stepping in for the General Manager.

About You:
  1. Taking the helm when the General Manager is away, motivating team members to deliver their best and ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  2. Creating a warm welcome for guests, making every first impression count and ensuring delightful experiences.
  3. Monitoring customer feedback to help your team adapt and maintain high standards.
  4. Going above and beyond to ensure a high level of service, supporting the full team during peak times.
  5. Overseeing the quality of food offerings and recognizing the importance of the Kitchen Team.
  6. Having experience in a similar role, able to support team members as needed.
  7. Paying attention to detail in admin and cash management, taking responsibility in the absence of the General Manager.
  8. Understanding health and safety regulations thoroughly.
  9. Being an inspiring role model for team members, supporting their development.
  10. Taking pride in personal development with aspirations to become a General Manager.
