The Seaton Lane Inn, part of The Inn Collection Group, is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in delivering a warm, efficient guest experience. You will lead a busy team, supervise daily operations, and ensure standards across service, food, and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality management or pub/restaurant operations.
• Proven ability to lead a team and drive guest satisfaction.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in leading daily operations.
• Manage shifts, oversee service standards and guest interactions.
• Liaise with Chefs, management and suppliers to ensure quality.
• Handle stock, invoicing, and occasional guest responses.
• Motivate and mentor staff to deliver exceptional hospitality.

You’ll Fit Right Inn

As an Assistant Manager you will be key to supporting the General Manager in ensuring that our Inn feels like a home away from home for our guests. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a key role in leading the team, managing daily operations, and creating a welcoming and efficient environment for both staff and guests.

In this role, you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily duties, lead a team to deliver company standards, and manage the Inn's day-to-day operations. You'll need to be hands-on and approachable, leading by example, and fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere. You will handle everything from managing shift operations in our busy, fast-paced environment to conducting administrative tasks, liaising with Chefs, Management, and Suppliers. This includes stocktake and ordering, handling accounts management, and being available for occasional sleepovers and guest responses.
