An exciting opportunity has now become available for one suitably experienced Assistant Manager to join our friendly team.
The Vine Day service provides a variety of centre and community-based opportunities daily for up to 45 adults with learning disabilities and a range of complex health and social care support needs.
As an Assistant Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of service users and staff. The suitable candidate must be able to respond independently to unexpected situations, enjoy a challenge and remain calm under pressure.
You will also be responsible for undertaking regular and annual performance discussions, sickness monitoring, performance management and other associated HR processes. A comprehensive understanding of Safeguarding Adult’s policies, procedures and government legislation is essential.
Other duties include managing staffing levels, responding to queries, including complaints and compliments, participating in staff meetings and developing risk management plans. The successful candidate will also be responsible for safe handling and administration of medication within the unit.
