Tenpin Ltd (part of Ten Entertainment Ltd) Peterborough is opening a brand new, state of the art family entertainment centre at Queensgate Shopping Centre in December 2026. We’re expanding and searching for an Assistant Manager to lead the team and ensure guests have a fantastic time.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, drive exceptional customer service, and develop your people to grow into a Deputy Manager. If you’re energetic, organised and ready to progress, join our vibrant Tenpin team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a management role within leisure, hospitality or retail.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
• Experience in leading and developing large teams.
• Ambitious and eager to progress into higher roles.

Responsibilities

• Assume day-to-day responsibility for the operational management of the centre.
• Strive to achieve a culture focused on delivering the best possible customer service.
• Lead the team by example and ensure everyone works together.
• Support the delivery of the company strategy.
• Deputise in the absence of the Deputy Manager.
• Own training and development to grow into the Deputy Manager role.
• Support other Managers in achieving budgets, targets and KPIs.
• Provide support to the team in various departments as required.
• Ensure all policies, procedures, controls and compliance areas are followed daily.

The Role

As a Assistant Manager for Tenpin, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers have a great time when they visit us! The ideal Assistant Manager will be driven, passionate and have a natural ability to create a fun environment for both our customers and team.

You will need to be well organised, approachable and show initiative. Exceptional customer service will be at heart of your role. You will also be responsible for owning your development to grow into a Deputy Manager.

You Will

• Assume day-to-day responsibility for the operational management of the centre
• Strive to achieve a culture that is totally focused on the delivery of the best possible level of customer service
• Lead the team by example ensuring everyone works together effectively
• To support the delivery of the company strategy
• Deputise in the absence of the Deputy Manager
• Undertake ownership for own training and development to grow into the future role of Deputy Manager
• Support the other Managers in the achievement of all budgets, targets and KPI’s
• Provide support to the team in various departments as and when required
• Take responsibility for ensuring that all policies, procedures, controls and compliance areas are adhered to on a daily basis

Skills You Need

• Have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a management role, ideally within leisure, hospitality or retail
• Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
• Have experience in leading and developing large teams
• Full of determination, enthusiasm and patience!
• Be ambitious and want to progress!
