CareTech is seeking an Assistant Care Manager in Ormiston to support the home manager in running a child-focused residential service. You will mentor staff, ensure high-quality care, and help manage reports and daily operations.
The role requires at least 2 years in a similar setting, SVQ 4/SQF 9 and an HNC in Social Care (or equivalent). A UK driving licence is essential, with training provided to use digital recording systems.

Pay: £42,889 per annum

As an assistant manager you will support the home manager in ensuring the smooth running of the service and its staff.
New staff must be comfortable using an electronic care recording system on a daily basis to document, monitor, and update children and young people’s records accurately. Experience with Clearcare is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided. However, all staff are expected to confidently use digital systems as part of their day-to-day role.
