Job summary

Marston’s PLC in Nottingham is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our pub team. You’ll support the General Manager, lead and motivate staff, and ensure memorable guest experiences while upholding brand standards.

The Aspire programme offers development into a General Manager role, with a friendly, lively environment and benefits including staff discounts, flexible hours, and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a pub or branded hospitality team.
• Strong people and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive KPI performance.

Responsibilities

• Support the GM in achieving financial and business KPI’s
• Inspire and motivate your pub team on every shift
• Be passionate about doing the right thing for your team and guests
• Be accountable for the successful operation of the pub when deputising for the GM
• Bring previous experience in a like-for-like Assistant/ Deputy Manager role in a similar/ branded environment
