Boots Opticians is seeking a dynamic social and content manager to enhance brand visibility through various digital platforms. You will develop engaging content aligned with global standards, manage social interactions, and collaborate with internal teams to drive successful digital campaigns, fostering strong customer connections.

Overview:
You’ll be a crucial part of the UK market team – our social and content custodians, talking directly with our consumers, bringing out brands visual identity to life. You’ll be managing and championing the brand and building strong social and content activation plans that are integrated with the wider brand plans, maximising both the short term and long-term value to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver local content plan for social in line with global brand standards including translation of Global assets into local execution recommendation and support on local production/publishing as and when required
• Own and lead our social channels, growing current platforms and launching new platforms that are right for our brand and customers
• Support influencer engagement and activation activities
• Lead the local production of content requirements for the UK market and your brands always seeking out new formats and production to enhance our content delivery
• Lead our community management across all social channels, to ensure all feedback is heard, actioned and responded too in accordance with brand guidelines
• Work in partnership with the Brand, Digital, Brand Ambassadors and PR teams in the planning and implementation of campaigns and social activity
• Deliver regular analytics to monitor the performance and levels of engagement of our digital channels
• Contribute to the total effectiveness of the department, communicating openly, solving problems proactively, offering creative ideas and working as a positive engaged, team member
About you:
• Experience in social management and content production, aligned to KPIs
• A deep understanding of local consumers, the evolving social environment and be able to use this to build truly market leading content and conversations with our consumers.
• Proven ability to develop thorough understanding of customer and consumer behaviour and trends
• Experience of content production and scheduling across digital and social channels
• Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders
• Collaborative approach with the ability to work closely and productively with internal partners and external agencies
