Job summary

Greene King in North Shields is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run a busy Flaming Grill pub with energy and warmth. You will lead by example, guiding the team to deliver top-notch guest experiences and maintain brand standards during every shift.

You will support the General Manager, train staff, and ensure safety and allergen controls are followed. A strong focus on service, people skills, and adaptability is essential to thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• You’ll be passionate about delivering amazing experiences for customers.
• You’ll be great with people, and as a result, have great communication and leadership skills making sure you get the best out of people.
• An ability to think on your feet and adapt to whatever challenges arise during a busy shift.
• A keen eye for every small detail and a desire to uphold high standards in all that you do.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
