The Wheatsheaf is currently recruiting a talented and ambitious Assistant Manager with personality and charisma. You will have the opportunity to be part of Urban Pubs & Bars, a rapidly growing people-focused and progressive hospitality business.

The Role
  • Support the General Manager in all aspects of running the venue as if it were your own business. You need to be business savvy and have great commercial understanding!
  • Lead and develop your team to maintain high standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • This role could be suitable for an Assistant Manager or Deputy General Manager, or a Supervisor seeking their first Assistant Manager position.

  • Take ownership, be bold, and run the business as if it's your own
  • Manage pressure with ease, stay cool, calm, and collected
  • Be approachable, with solid communication and organizational skills
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a manager
