The Opportunity

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will share responsibility for your store and team within The Frasers Group. Your role involves assisting the Store Manager in training, coaching, and engaging the team to surpass company objectives. You will support business initiatives, ensure their successful implementation, and assist with store operations, customer service, budget control, personnel, and product management. Additionally, you will take ownership of key areas and be accountable for the store in the absence of the Store Manager.

The Ambition

  • Assist with all store operations, ensuring KPIs are met

Controls
  • Use reports to monitor wage controls weekly, resolving issues promptly
  • Support store scheduling aligned with trading patterns
  • Assist with payroll processing and problem-solving
  • Ensure store compliance with standards for customer service and security
  • Take accountability for wage control and store management in the absence of the Store Manager
Sales
  • Understand customer expectations and motivate the team to deliver excellent service
  • Train the team on product features to maximize sales
  • Track and communicate KPI targets, motivating the team
  • Maintain strong commercial awareness of industry trends and competitors
  • Analyze reports to enhance sales and profitability
  • Implement merchandising guidelines effectively on the sales floor
Development
  • Identify internal talent and support performance management
  • Address performance issues professionally
  • Engage in personal development and accept constructive feedback
  • Promote Frasers Group core values and foster team engagement
  • Encourage team feedback and act as a liaison with the Store Manager
