Job summary

Wildwood Restaurants in Lincoln is seeking a personality-packed Assistant Manager to join a lively 150-cover site with a central bar and open kitchen. You’ll lead the front-of-house team during fast-paced services, ensuring exceptional hospitality and a hands-on guest experience.

This hourly paid contract, including tips, offers a strong work-life balance with no super early starts, no late nights and Christmas Day closed.

Responsibilities

• Running slick, high-energy services with genuine hospitality.
• Leading and supporting the front-of-house team.
• Driving footfall and sales with creative outreach (tasters, engagement, flair!).
• Handling all things people-related – from recruitment and training to team wellbeing and performance management.
• Managing stock levels, placing accurate orders, and working with suppliers.
• Keeping tight control on labour, rotas, and productivity.
• Ensuring all operational tasks (including health & safety, compliance and cash handling) are delivered to the highest standard.
• Ensuring every guest leaves feeling wowed.
• Representing Wildwood with style, confidence, and passion.

Right in the heart of Lincoln, Wildwood is a thriving 150-cover restaurant featuring a stunning central bar, open kitchen, strong local following and vibrant atmosphere. Recently refurbished throughout, the venue now boasts a stylish, contemporary design with a cool, chic feel.

We are growing our management team! With two fantastic Assistant Managers already on the team, this additional role reflects the site's continued growth and the exciting opportunities ahead.
