About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to help lead our care home with warmth, integrity, and professionalism. You’ll support the Home Manager and Deputy Manager in the smooth and efficient running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of the home
  • Supervise and support care staff, acting as a role model and leader
  • Provide hands-on care and lead by example
  • Take on Manager/Deputy duties in their absence
  • Maintain compliance with Local Authority, Social Services, and Fire Safety regulations
  • Oversee medication administration, recording, and ordering
  • Support with staff training and development
  • Help ensure appropriate staffing levels and skills mix

What We’re Looking For:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or above) in Health & Social Care
  • Experience working in dementia care
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A caring, professional, and proactive attitude
  • Ability to work flexibly and under pressure
