The Weyside is a busy, stylish pub in Guildford, part of Young's Pubs, renowned for fresh food, premium drinks, and guest experiences. We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to lead our team, drive excellent customer service, and contribute to ongoing success and growth within the business.

The successful candidate will manage shifts, train staff, and role-model the hospitality approach that keeps our guests returning. A passion for hospitality and career development is essential.

• Lead and manage day-to-day pub operations and staff scheduling.
• Train and develop team to maintain high service standards and guest satisfaction.

The Weyside is one of the busiest and best pubs in Guildford, on one of the most scenic river views in the country. We are a fresh food focused pub, with a premium wine, draught and cocktail selection. The ideal candidate will have relevant industry experience and take a collaborative approach to enhancing the customer experience and pub's offer whilst developing their own career pathway to lead a pub of their own one day. We are now looking to expand our management team.

What we look for in an Assistant Manager:

We are looking for a motivated & experienced Assistant Manager to join and lead our team in our stylish, food focused pub. As the successful Assistant Manager you will have a genuine passion for exceptional customer service and a pro-active approach to team management. You will be enthusiastic & driven to continue the success of our pub and play a pivotal part in training our team to ensure they have the knowledge needed to delight our customers. You will also be someone who is committed to their career in hospitality and we can offer ongoing development to support you as you grow and succeed with us.
