Job summary

Zara is seeking a Department Manager for its London stores across Ladieswear, Menswear and Kidswear. You will lead a high-performing team, deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales performance in a fast-paced retail environment.

As the heart of the store, you will manage operations, merchandising, and budgeting while coaching talent and ensuring excellent service. Join a globally recognised brand and influence store results daily.

What You'll Be Doing
Lead Your Team
  • Inspire, coach and develop a high-performing team.
  • Create a positive and engaging working environment where people can thrive.
  • Identify and develop future leaders through ongoing coaching, training and succession planning.
  • Lead by example, setting the standard for customer service, teamwork and performance.
Drive Commercial Results
  • Analyse sales performance and implement actions to maximise opportunities.
  • Monitor department productivity, profitability and KPIs.
  • Use your commercial awareness and product knowledge to drive sales and deliver results.
  • Stay ahead of competitors and emerging fashion trends.
Create an Outstanding Customer Experience
  • Ensure every customer receives an exceptional experience.
  • Support your team in delivering expert product knowledge and styling advice.
  • Resolve customer queries professionally and confidently.
  • Champion the latest collections, bestsellers and new arrivals.
Deliver Operational Excellence
  • Maintain exceptional visual merchandising standards.
  • Ensure stock is replenished effectively and your stockroom remains organised.
  • Manage department payroll, rotas and budgeting efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards and operational procedures.
