Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is seeking an Assistant Manager at Browns Glasgow to support the General Manager in leading the team and delivering a memorable guest experience in a classically British setting.

You will mentor staff, train the team to deliver food, drink and service to the highest standards, and act as Duty Manager when the GM is away. The role offers progression and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience managing teams in hospitality or similar fast-paced environments.
• Ability to train and inspire staff to deliver excellent guest service.
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations and act as Duty Manager when needed.
• Train and inspire the team to deliver food, drink, and service to be proud of.
• Be the role model and guide development within the team.
• Lead the team to deliver WOW moments to guests and keep them coming back.
