Job summary

Epwin Group is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager for its UK trade counter and warehouse operations in Brierley Hill. You will work alongside the Branch Manager to ensure outstanding customer service, maintain high counter and warehouse standards, and lead by example within a small team.

The role requires a full driving licence, IT literacy, and a proactive attitude. Training for a forklift licence is available if not already held.

Qualifications

• Proven customer-facing service experience in a branch or counter environment.
• Ability to lead a small team and support Branch Manager.
• Strong organisational skills and IT literacy.
• Full valid driving licence; forklift licence preferred but training available.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Branch Manager to deliver excellent customer service.
• Maintain high standards in the trade counter area and warehouse.
• Lead by example and drive branch performance targets.
• Provide cover for the Branch Manager during their absence.
• Support health and safety compliance and staff training.

The role of an Assistant Branch Manager:

• Works together with the Branch Manager to provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain high standards within the trade counter area and warehouse.
• Has a can-do/will-do attitude and able to work within a small team.
• Assist with health and safety compliance.
• Lead by example.
• Work with the Branch Manager and the rest of the team to achieve branch performance targets.
• Provide cover for the Branch Manager in their absence.
• Will have a friendly, welcoming attitude and have energy and passion that is required to deliver what our customers require.
• Must have a full valid driving license. A forklift truck license would be preferable but if not, training will be provided.
• Good organisational skills and be IT literate.
• Experience in a trade counter environment would be preferred but not essential as the right attitude and drive will overcome any lack of this experience. Full training will be provided
