Assistant Manager - Lounge

Lounges are unique places, thanks to the brilliant people who run them. As an Assistant Manager, you'll support the General Manager in maintaining this brilliance across the team, delivering 14 excellent shifts to ensure every customer leaves satisfied. You will assist with the daily operations of the Lounge, including rotas, team engagement, and customer feedback. Your standards will match ours, but your approach will be uniquely yours. You'll do it your way. Brilliant!

This role involves attention to detail in driving sales, team retention, training, customer service, and upholding high standards. You will strive to make your Lounge the preferred spot for the local community. It's a challenging job, but you are confident in your abilities.

What You Bring
  • Experience as an Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, or Supervisor in restaurants, bars, cafes, or coffee shops
  • Experience working in a bar environment with food and drink preparation
  • A passion for hospitality and talent for managing people
  • Driven and persistent in overcoming challenges
  • Strong literacy, attention to detail, and reporting skills
  • Excellent communication skills to build rapport and trust
  • Self-motivated, able to work at pace with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of sales building, forecasting, HR, recruitment, and NPS best practices
