Job description

Represent Everlast Gyms as an ambassador for fitness

Demonstrate our elevated ways of working always.

Drive all revenue lines, from membership sales to product and secondary services, to enhance the overall profitability of the gym.

Manage controllable costs effectively, such as stock orders and cleaning supplies, to eliminate wastage and overspend.

Lead by example on reception and the gym floor in this member-facing role, designed to enhance every visit.

Ensure central processes like FUNDAMENTALS, ASCEND & MOVE are followed and delivered to the highest level consistently.

Drive collective buy-in to national focuses & incentives like #WorkoutWednesday & #WeCommunicate.

Lead the recruitment, monitoring, training, and onboarding of new team members within your gym.

Ensure all daily, weekly, & monthly operational processes are completed consistently and to a high standard.

Provide honest, constructive feedback regularly to support team members in achieving their potential and challenging them daily.

Report facilities & maintenance-related issues in accordance with best practice guidelines.

Be resilient and agile to react to challenging situations and find solutions.

Manage policies and procedures effectively, including Health & Safety and pool plant operations.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times, whether on shift or not.

Requirements:

  • Passion for health, fitness, and wellness.
  • Level 2 qualification in fitness (desirable).
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Adaptability in communication and management style depending on the team member and their drivers.
  • A positive, solutions-driven mindset in the face of adversity.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a member champion mentality.
  • Driven and ambitious with a keen desire to learn and develop behaviors and competencies specific to the role.
  • Flexibility in working hours and location to support the needs of the business, including weekends and Bank Holidays when required.

This is a full-time position responsible for the day-to-day running of the business. Responsible for leading the team in all sales and operational processes, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to OWN IT.
